We at CM Technologies fight for a better world for future generations by protecting the climate and the environment. Our company is committed to lessen our carbon footprint by economical and efficient transport as well as impact mitigation for our own company. Toxic substances are banned, and even dangerous goods are reduced to an absolute minimum. To reduce active as well as passive environmental impact we engineer innovative technologies where previously chemical solutions were used. Even small things as the paper we use are strictly regulated. Almost all proceedings are digitalised and where paper is necessary, we use regional paper that is one hundred percent recycled.

In a globalised economy, we work with people from all over the world. Nonetheless it is important for us to operate with many local companies and to keep our rout of transportation as short as possible. CM Technologies is proud to say that we are able to manufacture nearly all our products at our location in Glückstadt. Trainings are conducted, if possible, digital. Our knowledge and products are distributed all over the world, but our carbon footprint is one of the lowest in our line. But we go even further. Our goal is not only to reduce emission in the marine industry through innovative technology, but also to start at our own company. All our apprentices have a special train ticket to get to their school environmentally friendly. We are proud to say that our entire fleet of company cars is electrically powered and at our new headquarter are six power stations for electrical cars.

With our new headquarter in Glückstadt as an energy efficiency building with only 40% energy consumption of a comparable standard building, we contribute to protect the climate. The convenient alignment towards north allows us to forgo any air conditioning, as well as the insulation according to the newest guidelines. Our modern heat recovery ventilation makes the use of fossil fuels needless. The better part of our power we produce with our photovoltaic system installed at the roof of our new headquarters. Even our power stations for electrical cars are powered by the photovoltaic system. To achieve our ambitious goals of environmental protection, we have a rainwater retention basin where rainwater can seep away instead of being admitted into the sewer system. CM Technologies is committed to protect climate and environment through sustainability and a healthy and careful handling of our resources. Our future depends on how we care for it.
