The nomination for the Great Prize for the Middlestand was already a great honour. The nomination is based on five key criteria: growth and development, job creation, innovation, environmental responsibility, and customer service. Our hometown, Glückstadt, has recognised the hard work and development CMT has accomplished over the last years and pushed us into the race.

Since 1994, the Oskar-Patzelt Foundation has celebrated medium-sized businesses for their contribution to Germany’s economy. Every year, companies from all over Germany can be nominated. They need to pass the jury's verdict to proceed to the final nomination. From all applications, 12 companies will be granted the prize and 6 supporters of medium-sized businesses are honoured for their work.

CMT will be joining the award ceremony next weekend as one of the finalists. We feel fortunate to be selected as part of this outstanding group of companies and are looking forward to the event. And maybe we are lucky enough to bring back a souvenir.
