For the 4th year in a row, the Drachenbootrennen in Glückstadt brought together local companies and groups for one of the most team-driven sports there is. Up to 18 rowers, a 12-meter boat, and the simple truth that speed at the start means nothing without the strength to reach the finish line.
Furthermore, it shows raw power does not beat timing. When all rowers are in rhythm, the boat glides through the water. Two lessons that can easily be adopted to the condition monitoring industry.

We came in 12th this year. Not our best result, but every qualifying race we've improved by multiple seconds. The reason? We analyzed, made adjustments, and saw the improvements. Turns out, optimising performance is second nature to us. A result we are genuinely proud of as a team.

It is also a great event for our local town. 21 teams on the water, hundreds of spectators on the banks, and a town that clearly knows how to make a summer day memorable. The Drachenbootrennen has become exactly what a local tradition should be: something people genuinely look forward to. And CMT is proud to be part of it. See you on the water next year.
